I was relatively pleased with my experience using The Shade, however, I think it would be more beneficial for darker hair colours than blondes as there wasn't anything included for toning the blonde (it lifted my root colour a decent amount but to a slightly orange tone). The colour I used was an ash blonde however my hair didn't go as ashy as I'd have expected, this could be because my hair wasn't light enough. I wish that they had a larger range of colours, the ability to pick specific colours rather than doing the quiz to choose one, and perhaps something for toning the hair (even if it came for an extra cost). The developer I received was 20 volume developer so not too harsh on the hair.
