I ordered a reasonably priced sampler from Thompson Cigar in September, paid with PayPal (which was an option), and contacted customer service by email when I didn't receive my order a month later. They responded and said they'd start a claim process, as well as send me a replacement order for the one I didn't receive. All I had to do is verify my shipping address, which I did. Almost another month went by, and still nothing. I called customer service by phone, and the lady I talked to said that my order was actually canceled at the end of September due to an issue with PayPal. I checked my PayPal and it said that the transaction was pending until Thompson Cigar completes the order, so it was on their end. Her solution? Place the order again and pay over the phone. No. I thanked her for her time and we ended the conversation there. I waited two months for something that they were supposed to fix on their end, and then I had to go through the entire process again? I will not be doing any business with this company if this is the level of handling they devote to anyone, let alone first time buyers. One of the issues I was advised of during my first email contact was that there might have been a problem with the shipping address, which is BS because they sure managed somehow to deliver a catalog to me while I was waiting for my order. I'm going back to Cigars International for all my purchasing from now on.
