The rack was delivered with both ends of the box completely torn and the exposing the black metal. I put the rack together yesterday and all parts were still in box, but the exposed metal areas already have scratches on them. Rack is solid and will eventually continue to get worn in, but it's nice when you buy something new and it looks new in the beginning. I also wish it had some sort of grip on the tracks.
