The transaction itself was smooth. The support stuff was helpful. The correct kit was ordered. My car mechanic installed the towbar in my VW Golf Wagon MK7.5 2017. He found two problems: 1. The 7-pin connection socket has a plate with two threaded bolts welded to it with which you fix the socket to the car. The problem is that the socket case is so wide that it obstructs the nuts that should go on the threaded bolts. Obviously there is a mismatch here. There is no easy fix for this one. 2. The instruction specifying which cable should be connected where is incorrect. The lights did not work correctly. My mechanic had to resort to time consuming process of swapping the cables to find the right combination. I had to pay for his time of course. So, two problems with the product.
