After using my account to reserve one room at a Travelodge hotel I attempted to reserve another room at a different hotel. When I got to the "proceed with secure payment" I get "invalid postal code" error. I live in the United States and have entered my address in my account accordingly. Somehow the system has changed my postal code to a UK postal code and there is no way to change it back to the correct US postal code (the "not in UK" button does not appear on the check out pages. Even when my postal code did display correctly in my account, when I go to the "proceed with secure payment" option the system continues to assume I am in the UK and the "Not in the UK" button is not available on the screen.
I had to reserve my desired location and room outside of my account as it appeared to be the only way to get the reservation. Now I am told there is no way to get this reservation into my account. The Chat representative was as helpful as they could be but was unable to resolve my issues. Calling Central Reservations Team would cost me $3 per minute so is not something I feel prepared to do to try to resolve this issue. There is an issue with the website regarding foreign customers. Please pass this on to whatever team may be able to fix these issues.
