I am so disgusted with Truworths. I'm a very loyal customer. I bought an Estee lauder foundation which was quite expensive. I bought it at the Menlyn store. The staff there were extremely friendly. The lady gave me a sample so I didn't open the box at all. Turned out the shade was dark for me. I took the foundation back to Witbank Highveld mall truworths to return it. I did not open the box. The manager at Witbank was extremely rude and arrogant. They opened the box and messed the cap with the foundation and told me that they couldn't exchange it because I opened the box. The foundation was intact. They took it behind closed doors and they were gone for so long while I was waiting for them. They are pathetic. The manager was ruthless and I've never seen a more arrogant woman/manager when it came to customer care. If this is how you treat customers who support your stores then I don't think I want to shop at Truworths anymore.
