DO NOT USE TURO!
Turo does not care for its customers and only about profit. Their customer service is a laughing stock due to not one person seems to know what the other is doing (even with their “notes”) and they will send you in circles for hours and even days. They charge you extra fees and will not even help you with reimbursement!
I was having issues with my payment method and a friend helped with one charge until I could get my new card placed on the app. Turo did not even attempt to charge my card upon the next payment and instead charged my friend’s card two more times! One being a fraudulent “late fee and gas fee” that did not belong as I had an agreement with the Host and gassed the vehicle up before returning. When attempting to understand why my friend’s card was charged I discovered that after they had charged that card these fees they closed my account so I couldn’t access any of the data.
This company has terrible business practices and are immoral to the core.
10 out of 10 would NOT recommend.
