I was out of the country, flew back to Fort Lauderdale and wanted to rent a car from Turo. Mind you I have rented from them before…. check this out:
I agreed to a rental car for $119.95. I contacted the owner through the Turo app. The owner told me that I can use my iPhone or android to get the key once I get to the car. Unfortunately, my iPhone broke when I was out of the country and I had no iphone!!!! The owner was nice and told me that I can’t get the car without having a working phone, so he gave me Turo customer service #. I called them and I spent 45 minutes with customer service and they couldn’t do a damn thing.
NEXT THING YOU KNOW, MY CREDIT CARD IS CHARGED $119.95 AND THEY REFUSED TO RETURN THE CHARGE!!! So I called Wells fargo and it’s now two months that we’re fighting with them, and just today, Turo credited my card back.
They absolutely suck when there’s a problem.
