Min Cheng (goes by Gary) of Las Vegas ran a scam on me, and Turo did absolutely zero to hear my side of the story.
After Min saw I left a 5-star review (knowing that Turo would not allow me to alter it), he filed a "collision report" for "bush scratches", even though I never hit anything while using his car. There was an extremely windy day while I had the car so I can't guarantee that every single scratch did not occur while I had the car, but if you look at the pictures I submitted, you can't really see any of these cause they're so small no one would notice them, just like I didn't pay much attention to them when I picked up the car. Turo decided to charge me over $1400. Min took the car to a dealer who decided there was more than just superficial damage (cause his car is from 2011 and had taken a beating before I used it), and now Min is trying to get me to pay for over $1400 more in addition to what I already paid him.
If you've also been the victim of Min's scam, spread the word! People need to know about this criminal! I'm interested in taking legal action against Turo for allowing him to behave this way, always assuming the host is right, and for demanding to be paid within 24 hours of determining the cost without any consultation of evidence provided by the renter.
