We just completed our 19th trip with Turo over the past 12 months, and it will be our last. We’ve canceled our account and will be returning to traditional rental cars.
Turo systematically shields unscrupulous hosts at the expense of their guests - we've seen this multiple times. Most recently, we were unfairly charged $31 for the host's early drop-off (over a day before our scheduled trip) and another $25 for their late pickup. Despite Turo's policy requiring hosts to clearly disclose parking fees and responsibilities, this was not done in my case.
When I disputed these charges, Turo sided with the host, ignoring their own policies and the clear evidence I provided. It's evident that Turo prioritizes protecting hosts who generate fees over the fair treatment of guests. This experience was the last straw.
