Turo continues to take advantage of its customers. Charging almost $200 more on top of the fees already for a little sand. Turo was a great company at first to rent from, but I will no longer be using Turo or recommending to to others. Turo takes days to reply to emails/requests and charged my card without my consent. STAY AWAY!
Two years ago should have been a wake up call. Two years ago the host cancelled my rental and Turo did not notify me. After I landed I couldn't find the car. I contacted the host and he said he had told Turo to notify me that the car wasn't running and to cancel the reservation. Since we needed a car still we used an Uber which cost another $100 to get us to the condo. I was able to book another car with a different host then next day. Turo didn't care about the added cost and didn't respond to a request for a refund of the added cost. Turo is horrible in my opinion. This is coming from someone who has rented from Turo for the last 8 years. I will not continue renting with Turo anymore.
Costs have also increased over the years and any added fees are quadruple of what they used to be. Turo is no longer worth it.
