TURO allows their renters to the drivers to be able to file false complaints that can lead to being charge a fee and a removal of your account without a valid investigation. I was accused of smoking in the car without any proof of evidence other than me dropping the guts of a leaf on the floor unable to vacuum due to running late for drop off. There was no smell. I DID NOT SMOKE. There was no hard evidence. I DID NOT SMOKE. The only thing was technically "trash" that does not indicate that smoking was done in the car. They said the owner of the carl was able to report and that gave them all the evidence they needed to proceed to close my case. I did not have any say so. Not to mention the owner was very discriminative. I was also fined and banned which is crazy considering that I DID NOT SMOKE! All it needed was a damp napkin for clean up of small pieces OR TO BE VACCUUMMED! Non of the less, typical wear and tear of trash being left behind. I compare it to crumbs of food. I DO NOT RECCOMMED!
