I’ve had an incredibly disappointing experience with Turo’s damage claim process, and unfortunately, there is still no resolution in sight. After my vehicle sustained over $6,000 in damage during a rental, I’ve faced significant delays and unresponsiveness from both Turo and their insurance facilitator. Despite multiple attempts to address the issue, only two areas of damage are being considered, while much of the damage remains ignored.
To make matters worse, the insurance facilitator has been extremely rude and disrespectful to the repair shop owner. This unprofessional behavior led the shop to refuse further collaboration with the facilitator, leaving me stuck with an unresolved claim and a damaged vehicle.
As a disabled veteran, this has been an especially frustrating and stressful experience. I expected much better communication, professionalism, and support from Turo, but unfortunately, I have yet to see any progress toward resolving the issue.
At this point, I would not recommend Turo based on how they’ve handled my claim. It's been a challenging and disheartening ordeal with no resolution in sight.
