Uber Eats is great until you have a problem with a restaurant they delivered for. I received unsafe handled food, it was chicken contaminated with salmonella. It smelled foul, was pink n bloody. I contacted Uber Eats right away. They reimbursed me for their delivery charges and said restaurant was gonna be contacted. I contacted restaurant right away as well said they’d look into getting me a refund n get back to me, they didn’t within 24 hrs. I contacted them again n was told Uber Eats is responsible for giving me a full refund. I contact Uber Eats again, no they tell me restaurant was correct about refund but it’s not their practice to refund because it was now 48 hrs. Have passed since the delivery. Really? They knew they were response for my full refund, but only gave me a portion, then when I reach out again, once I found out thru restaurant that Uber was responsible, now I’m too late. So now 48 hrs. Later, and was only reimbursed $13 out of $44.22. So disappointing since I’ve been a loyal customer since the Covid pandemic started. Beware customers!
