It is finals week and thus I had to order ubereats to continue studying. Eventually, an hour passed and I had not received my food and couldn't focus. I contacted the driver several times to no avail then contacted customer service to see what could be done. They told me I could cancel the order or wait and they assured me it was on its way and that they only hired trusted individuals. I called the restaurant and they said it was picked up over 40 minutes ago and probably stolen. I told this to customer service again and they still assured me it was on my way. I still need my food so I asked if I could have it canceled and receive a $5 compensation so I could expedite the delivery time, and they said no as the $5 is only applied if I would "wait" until my order was delivered. They were entirely unhelpful, didn't listen, and I never received my food. I will never be ordering from uber eats again.
