Terrible. I ordered a McDonald’s delivery (Uber Eats delivering) through the McDonald’s app. When tracking the driver we could clearly see on the map that he stopped off at the local supermarket before dropping off the food which delayed the delivery by about 10 minutes.
When the food arrived it was cold and inedible. I contacted McDonald’s and they said I had to contact Uber Eats for a refund.
I contacted Uber Eats and they were so rude. They said it didn’t matter that the driver had parked up for 10 minutes to do his shopping because the food arrived before the deadline. When I explained that the food is cold as a result of this and useless to me, they said there was nothing they could do and I’d have to just eat the cold food.
This never got resolved meaning that we wasted £30 on food that we didn’t eat.
Terrible all around.
