No way to add zero but that’s what I would have given. Ordered via KFC app and Uber eats were delivering. The order never arrived. I rang Uber eats and was told that they can see the driver arrived at the address and waited a reasonable time so they will not refund the order. I argued that the driver did not call me and did not leave the food but they told me there’s nothing they can do and will not refund. They then said the driver called me 4 times but he hadn’t, I was the one who tried to call the driver but his phone was unreachable. I asked if the driver took the food back and I could go and collect myself. They said they will not comment on that and I need to ring KFC myself and see what they say. So because the driver apparently arrived and waited a reasonable he’s entitled to the food I paid for? That’s awful and a fraud. What guarantee is there then that the driver won’t just take the food without even trying to deliver.
I went to KFC and initially they said the driver took the food so they had done their bit and there’s nothing they could do. But another lady eventually packed us the order for which we were grateful even though some of the food we had ordered was no longer available.
I would never use Uber eats personally as this has happened to me before but unfortunately KFC uses them.
Avoid them at all costs!
