I placed an order (hamburger, cheese curds, and a malt) Time of placing the order was 3:50pm with an estimated of 4:10 and a latest of 4:25…a delivery person popped up but than at 4:10 stated that they couldn’t find a delivery person and were still searching…another delivery person showed up as picking up somewhere between 4:15 and 4:25…now my new time was 4:30…delivery driver was in the same spot (not on his way to the restaurant yet) until 4:30…now the deliver time changed to 4:40…finally showed up but the burger and cheese curds were absolutely cold and the malt was warm(completely liquid)
This to me is not a restaurant issue but Uber eats issue getting a delivery driver. The order totaled $23.+ and they gave me $6.00 Uber cash so now I have to order through them again if I am to see that refund. That’s ludicrous! A refund of any kind should be given back to the customers original payment method.
I’m not going to give the new delivery driver or the restaurant a bad rating, I don’t feel that my food being unedible was their fault.
I have used Uber Eats as well as Uber (drives) for quite some time now, I think it’s time to say goodbye and go back to Door Dash and Lyft. Uber eats does not care about their customers.
