In my area, Uber Eats is relatively new, but not so new that the kinks shouldn't already be worked out. I ordered a 4 item Taco Bell order, no one was available for delivery so I went for pickup. When I got there (This was a long enough time for me to have changed from delivery to pickup since no delivery driver was available, at least an hour after my initial order) my Uber Eats still wasn't ready when I finally made it to Taco Bell so I attempted to cancel. Uber Eats refused to refund me despite no services being rendered in over an hour even though Taco Bell is less than 7 minutes from my house. They have an awful customer chat as well. I was offered for my order to be cancelled, but still be fully charged which is just insane to even think an 'offer' like that would ever be okay. I ended up working things out with my local Taco Bell because of how horribly unhelpful Uber Eats was. I will not be using them ever again. I'll be removing my card from my profile immediately and warning friends and family of their issues. It's no wonder most people in my area only use DoorDash.
