Absolutely trash customer service. In fact to the point that I don’t care about uber eats or uber as a company anymore. I will never be using any of their services moving forward because every time I have, something went wrong and they failed to fix it appropriately.
This was the icing on the cake. I ordered from Sapporo and realized that I put in the wrong address within 2 minutes of placing the order. So I cancelled it, waited 15 minutes and ordered the same food plus more!
I found out today that they charged me for the original order and uber refused to compensate me in any capacity. I’ve spent 10 years in all kinds of kitchens so I know when an order comes in, you have a few minutes before they start working on it because that is the nature of the beast. You have to get your ducks in a row so to speak.
If I had waited 10-15 minutes it would be fair and I would be in the wrong, however this happened within 2 minutes of placing the order. So I know that there is no way that the sushi I was ordering was already being made. This is an illegitimate charge.
