Note. This is not about the driver but about your customer service. First time using app and after ordering I noticed the restaurant used was 50 minute drive away. Within a minute of ordering I tried to change the location from where the food was coming from and began to chat with someone through the app I was told I could not speak to someone in person and if I cancelled I would still have to pay for the order. I told them there were 5 other locations of the same restaurant which were much closer and I just wanted to change the location it was coming from. They continued to stonewall and delay, telling me the same thing that if I cancel the order I would still be charged. I placed the order at 8:45am and was originally told the order would arrive at 9:40am. While chatting the delivery time changed to 10:15am, that’s 90 minutes after placing the order!!! The food was stale by the time it was received. I could handle paying for the food and tip for the driver and even the $15 service fee However, what I do not find acceptable is either the lack of caring, poor communication and/or incompetence for customer service I received. Customer service would not tell me until I asked numerous times if there was a way to pick the location of the restaurant when you place your order. This was my first and last time ordering with Uber Eats. The most frustrating experience ever where I truly felt like you could care less about the customer and only about their money. Well my money will be going elsewhere now and I will tell all my friends. Goodbye.
