Sat for an hour for them to cancel the order, tell
me their sorry the driver cancelled. Two seconds later they say the vendor cancelled. Meanwhile
DoorDash is on the way with the same order, within 20 min delivery window. Complete waste of time. I spent a lot of money with Ubereats and asked for a credit for the inconvenience, even a $5 credit would have been nice for having me sit waiting for an hour. It showed my food was picked up so they lied about the vendor cancelling it. They didn’t charge me which is great because the agents do not communicate very well and they probably have limited resources to actually solve any issues. It felt like my time meant nothing - I felt it was unacceptable. I pay for a convenient service and this was the polar opposite. Had I wanted to wait an hour to start over I’d have driven myself to get the food, got home, dropped it on the floor and drove back again and STILL spent less time and money than I did with this service. Unreal.
