Only reason I placed an order through Uber Eats was they were running a 50% off up to $15 special. I placed an order for Dominos Pizza to be delivered to the church and Uber Eats took off the $15 for the promotion but added back a $14.23 “Marketplace fee charge” that they didn’t even explain what that was. I tried to get help from the app and selected Chat Support. The “agent” I got was NOT helpful and just ended the chat. So I had to try to get help from the Phone Support and spoke to another agent. She was trying to help but they said they can’t refund me the $14.23 Marketplace fee charge. I told them it would have just been cheaper to place the order directly from Dominos and will no longer be using their services. They did not care. She only asked if I wanted them to delete my account with them. 😡
