I placed the order that was supposed to be picked up at a certain time when I got there. My order was not prepared. They told me they were missing certain items so they told me that if I want something else I would have to cancel my order so I canceled my order and purchase something else spend a little under $30 when I checked for my refund this morning, Uber Eats notifying me that I had a canceling fee and they took my money. I feel like this is a form of embezzlement. I feel that if they don’t know that the restaurant is fully prepared fully stocked with stuff that you order that they shouldn’t make the depiction of after your money was to be canceled and refund it or not I spent a total of $60 last night receiving one of my orders did I place after they told me what they had in stock thinking I was gonna get my Uber Eats refunded contact the Uber eats and there were very disrespectful. If I were to use DoorDash, I would’ve never had this problem. Some restaurants do not have items and they don’t tell you that right away. The customer should not be faulted for that. I feel we should raise a class action lawsuit against Uber Eats for felon to return customers money without Any proof that the food was in stock
