My order was missing an item. This can happen with food delivery and all other services (Skip or DoorDash) offer great customer support and resolve these situations promptly, but Uber refused to recognize their mistake and caused a big back and forth and in the end ghosted me in the chat. Their customer service rep was just copy pasting canned responses to me and said that they had “determined that my order matches my delivery” despite there being an item missed. I asked to speak with a manager and they just kept copy pasting the same canned response about determining that my order was not eligible for refund then they just ghosted me in the chat, never actually put me through to a manager. They suggested that I give the courier or the restaurant a review, but my issue is with the fact that Uber Eats never took accountability for charging my card for an item I never received and basically said they think I’m a liar. Very poor customer service and no accountability.
