Ubereats put the address of the restaurant as the delivery address, charged me for the delivery, service fee and order and when a taxi driver checked for me there was no order left there. I ask that there be an error check such that if the delivery is destined for the restaurant that this be shown as pickup because I was genuinely fooled into believing it would be delivered to my home because it said give the code at your door. Please put in the error check and refund me for the order that didn’t even exist at the delivery point when the driver looked for it. It shouldn’t be allowed to charge and then not leave the food there at least it should be left so the customer has a chance to ask someone to pick it up. Particularly bad when you’re disabled and then you don’t get dinner because the system is confusing and doesn’t tell you that the delivery is going to the store (in which case it should show as pickup) it would make more sense to have a screen asking you to confirm if you’d like it delivered to the restaurant you’re ordering from and ask if you want pickup. Thanks in advance for any help to sort this issue as I’m sure it’s fooled many. Also it would be good to have human customer service not AI
