UberEATS treat their drivers very poorly. I received a trip offer where I would earn 4 dollars. Only after I accepted did I realize that the trip was far away, and I would have to spend well over 4 dollars to make it there. When I tried to speak with the support team, they told me I would receive a complaint, as I had already accepted the offer.
What was incredibly frustrating was the fact that they still attempted to coerce me to go, even if it would cost me money, by threat of a complaint. This is nothing but an exploitation and mistreatment of workers.
UberEATS must do a better job to prioritize the literal engines of their operation—the drivers. Other apps like DoorDash do a much better
with employee support and even paying.
