Uber eats is such a big scam. The company is inconsiderate and put consumers last above their gains. I ordered items from Walmart. Unfortunately I clicked the wrong address from the multiple addresses I have. The driver called when he arrived but it was the wrong address only 5mins away. He was not allowed to bring me the items. I told the driver I can pick the items up myself however he wasn’t allowed by Uber eats for me to drive to get them back. I asked for refund and they refused to refund my money back. I asked the support team to let me know where my items are so I can get them myself however they refused and informed me it’s their policy not for me to receive my items back either. I’ve been back and forth with them and their last message is they will not touch the matter again however I can’t get refund or my items back and they won’t respond back anymore. This is my first time using their service and I’m surprised of this policy. No matter where you make a purchase, if you are not able to get a refund at least the merchant allow you to take your items/purchase. Uber eats is a huge scam and only think about themselves.
