Concern Regarding Delivery Experience
Dear Uber Eats Team,
I am writing to express my disappointment with a recent delivery experience. I placed an order for coffee through Uber Eats, and the delivery person made the baffling decision to leave the order directly in front of my door—blocking it entirely. As a result, I could barely open the door to retrieve my order.
To make matters worse, it was raining at the time, and the delivery person left without ringing the doorbell or notifying me in any way. This lack of communication and thoughtfulness caused unnecessary inconvenience and frustration.
As a customer, I expect delivery professionals to exercise basic common sense. Leaving an order in a location that creates an obstacle and departing without ensuring the customer is aware reflects poorly on the service. I hope Uber Eats takes steps to improve delivery practices and ensure such incidents don’t occur in the future.
