I ordered food with Uber Eats and I noticed the amount was wrong so I canceled the order immediately. I did not receive a refund and because the merchant accepted the order within a few seconds (not minutes) not only did the customer service agent say I wasn’t getting the food but because the merchant accepted the order within seconds she told me I couldn’t get a refund. I didn’t know you could openly steal from a patron that way. If I paid for a service I should be able to get the product or a refund. This is so disappointing that someone can have a policy to keep your money without giving you the service that you paid for. And there’s no where that states this until after you request a refund. Please if you like to spend your hard earned money BEWARE before you order Uber eats because they are allowed to keep your money and not give you the product you paid for. I still can’t believe this as I’m typing it, I can’t believe they can do this as a business. I lost my money but I really hope this review helps someone else not lose theirs.
