Ordered some bike components from France - they made it to Stansted on Feb 16th, but have now been stuck in the warehouse ever since. Can't believe I was charged for 24 hour delivery. It's an absolute disgrace and I'm now held up on finishing a client's build due to this shambles. Will never use UPS again and would like my money back for 'fast' delivery.
Emailed, phoned, tweeted but no other info other than telling me my parcel's delayed, which obviously I already knew.
Glad to see the company tweet about having a stellar 4th quarter of 2020 in financial terms. I suppose financial prosperity is more easily achieved if you charge customers for a service you then don't provide and don't have any care for the downstream consequences to those customers.
Utterly disgraceful business. I've followed what others on here said and have raised the issue with BBC Watchdog, trading standards, and Which magazine. My hope is that enough people report UPS to consumer rights groups then the negative PR will force some of these massive 4th quarter 2020 profits into actually running a courier service rather than stealing people's money, goods, and time
