UPS are demanding a £330 charge from me for a delivery on goods I know to have a 0% import duty. In their invoice they have labelled the cost 'Government Charges'
I have spent nearly three days trying to reach the UPS customer service team to request that they prove that this charge is genuine, additionally I have sent two emails. To date, no response.
Having spoken with an import/export specialist, a suggestion has been made that this is a method of profiteering following Brexit and the uncertainty and confusion this has brought about.
I am trying to give UPS the opportunity to prove otherwise, but they seem to be an inaccessible corporate.
Even their Drivers are told not to give out a Phone Number....
They only get one star because there is no option to zero stars
