I am an owner operator. I usually use FedEx. But UPS and FedEx both have drop boxes at almost all truckstops. This particular time I used UPS because FedEx did not have any envelopes nor shipping documents at the dropbox. I dropped from TA in Washington State. It was original BOL shipping documents. Going to Pleasant Grove Utah. They shipped it to China and it got lost. This shipment lost me $8,000 in revenue. It was clearly marked and written plainly. Without the original documents I can’t get paid. Still waiting on the third claim I filed with UPS. During this time I have been given five different stories on where my package is and where it ended up. The only thing that the different representatives could agree upon is the last time it was scanned.
