Rudest, sneakiest company I have ever had the displeasure of coming across.
The way they bill is so confusing that you have no idea what you're paying for - I have at least 4 different bills for each month over the last 2 years, all for different amounts! I was moved over to them automatically from Eversmart and everything I've queried just gets blamed on Eversmart. And they never want to help you with any queries, you have to chase and chase them for any replies on anything.
I'm not 100% convinced they accept proper meter readings but prefer to run your bills off estimates as I submit them every month but on my bills it's always against estimates. The one time in 2 years they actually sent someone round to take a meter reading they rejected it as they decided it was wrong compared to their estimates meaning my bills spiraled out of control without me having a clue.
I ended up with a massive bill I had to pay in one and the jobsworth I spoke to on the phone to resolve it could only obviously read off a script as she wasted ages of my time repeating the same irrelevant thing over and over again before actually explaining how to solve the issue. And she was so rude, I can't believe people like that are able to get customer facing jobs.
If you're considering Utilita PLEASE DO NOT - go with someone legit!!!
