Totally useless! All I wanted was a smart meter to be able to top up from home. There have been issues from the start of my supply back in 2020 - issues with Economy 7 and storage heaters being constantly on - this forced them to install a smart meter. The meter failing in Jan 2022, temp fix in Apr but I have to contact them to get my tariff changed back; tariff changed back and advised will take up to 14 days to apply. I’m now receiving messages to say that meter has run out of credit and to top up but message also says “please don’t rely on accuracy of our notification”. Concerned that my supply would switch off, I go to App to top up: “whoops, something went wrong”???!
Wish I’d never bothered, would rather go out in the cold and wet to find a working PayPoint facility with my previous supplier! I like to think I am quite savvy but if I am struggling, imagine a vulnerable person trying to work through this confusion. 😡
If only there was a “no stars” option.
