Please avoid this company!
I placed an order on the 15th Auagust with an expected delivery on the 21st. Without warning this was then changed to the 27th and it was then that I made my first attempt to cancel the order
Since then the delivery date has changed to the 1st September and 3rd September and now the 10th September when I expect the date will be moved again.
I have now submitted no less than 16 cancellation requests online (all resulting in an email receipt from Very) and made 3 phone calls to Very and on each occasion they have absolutely failed to act upon my cancellation request.
Their excuse is that they need their supplier to confirm acceptance of my request. I did not enter in any agreement with their supplier so I refuse to accept that this is a reason for my rights under the distance selling regulations to be ignored.
I have now resorted to raising a claim with my credit card company as today, during my 3rd phone call to them, I was informed by a lady calling herself Sinazo, that my order had been cancelled and I would receive an email to confirm. No email arrived so I called back (4th call to them) to be told I needed to wait 72 hours for their supplier to confirm acceptance of the cancellation.
