I purchased the Savannah fabric sofa bed on the 6th of February and paid additional fee to receive this the next day. It was delivered promptly, which I was pleased about.
The sofa arrived without the two side parts: the sofa has no arms and the metal connectors are visible, which makes the sofa unusable.
I telephoned Very’s customer service as soon as I unpacked to sofa hoping for a resolution.
I was told that as they have no parts available and that I would need to send the item back and await for a refund which takes up to 14 days.
I don’t want to go through the return of the sofa, then having to wait for my money (up to 14 days) until I have enough funds to order another sofa, which then I will have to unpack and set up again, on my own, as a single person.
It is not my problem that the sofa was sent with missing parts. Therefore, I should not be the one suffering for it. Very should be making arrangements as this has been a cause of major stress already. I understand that mistakes happen, but they should be corrected and the customer should not be losing out when it is the company’s fault.
It is quite disgusting that they are not bending backwards to actually get the parts to me as they have sent a completely unusable item.
I will be posting this review everywhere and will look into escalating this matter further.
