WARNING - Do NOT Order From Very!
WARNING - DO NOT ORDER FROM VERY OR LITTLEWOODS (who they seem connected to): .....
I ordered a Swan 1kw Portable Radiator, on next day delivery - it arrived, with a part missing (the foot), was clearly a return, and stinking of Mice - and had Mouse droppings inside!
I reported it immediately to Very. I was told I can't be sent a replacement, but that they could take payment AGAIN, and resend it - or I could wait until the Refund was processed, and reorder - being that I don't have an extra £24, I had to wait. It took 12 days to refund me. I was offered a 10% discount and basically told that, that was the resolution to my complaint. It wasn't but the complaint was closed, and I had to wait, with no heat!
I reordered it yesterday, and asked the Operator (who had her kids shouting in the background throughout, and was in her kitchen doing stuff when she answered) if she could send a message to the Warehouse to send me a new one - asking them to ensure it was NOT a return. Yes she says - she can do that, and gets on with ordering it -and taking payment.
Well - the 2nd Heater arrived. .... It's ANOTHER RETURN!!!!! - It has 2 parts missing from this one - no handle or foot this time; and the instructions were ripped, and folded, and rammed down the side - and the Cable has a slice in it, with copper wiring exposed, near the plug!!!! Seriously Very - do you only have 2nd Hand stock of these Heaters!?! I'm VERY not impressed! 🙁 ....
** UPDATE: I was told today, by another homeworking lady, that there was NO CONTACT WITH THE WAREHOUSE!!!! So the 1st Operator with the screaming kids, lied! ....
AND to add insult to injury, I was told that you'd collect the Heater on Wednesday 18th December 2024, BUT then, I'd have to wait up for your Warehouse to process it, before you'd process the refund (not likely before Christmas!), which means I have NO heat, and NO spare money to buy another heater from elsewhere! I'm fuming!!!!
I asked for a complaint to be raised about it all, and was told yes, but that the only way the complaint could be sent, was to CLOSE IT as resolved, and she asked me a couple of times if I wanted the complaint sent, which of course I do, so she closed it as resolved and sent it!!!!.....
The matter is most definitely NOT resolved! ..... GIVE ME MY MONEY BACK IMMEDIATELY!!!!!!!
You're nothing short of a vile Scam/Profiteering company at this point! Thanks for leaving a disabled, vulnerable adult and her elderly family in the cold, over Christmas!
