I ordered a New Samsung Galaxy s2 to give to my father as a present. When I received the product 3 days late the package had already been opened before being sent by very. The Samsung manufacturer Seals were broken, there were finger prints all over the screen, the power cord was all tangled up and shoved back in the box and when we turned it on the battery was already half used.
When I contacted Very about this they said that I would need to send it back , even though I was leaving the country in 2 days and would not receive the replacement in time to take with me to give to my dad for his birthday. When I explained this, they told me they could give me £20 back as a 'good will gesture' or that I would need to write in with photo evidence to get a better discount on the used product.
I tried to write in but the area of their website to do this was down and now, over 1 month later, it is still down. I also spoke to 3 more customer care advisors, I wrote in to different customer service email addresses from their website and also tried the online 'Chat' option.
Each time they would respond up until the point where I sent the email with the pictures and then I would not hear anything more from them.
This is the dodgiest company I've ever dealt with and I would definitely advise people to steer clear.
