Scammed
Sold on Vinted a bracelet which was a gift my daughter got from her ex. It was LV and it was never used. I told the buyer in advance that it was a gift and that I didn't have the receipt. I've sent it in the original packaging as the buyer insisted. The buyer sent back a photo of a different broken bracelet and complained that it was not original. As I've sent everything to the buyer I did not have at hand any further way to confirm that the item was authentic. In absence of my ability to provide a proof (as the item was with the buyer), Vinted decided that it will be considered not original, that the buyer can keep both, the item and the money. So if you want to scam someone and get an item for free, all you need to do is to confirm that the seller does not have the receipt and ask the seller to send you the item with the original packaging. Then you complain, seller's hands are empty, and you get the item for free
