Worst platform ever and I use loads of them like eBay without any problems.
I created a Vinted account but was not able to add my card details for some unknown reason (payment verification failed). Nothing wrong with my account, I checked with my bank who even contacted their fraud department, no issue whatsoever. I emailed them, all I got was an automated response. I followed their guidance (upload latest version of the app, try on different computers, different browsers, contacted my bank again etc). Their email suggested if this doesn’t work to send them a pic of my screen when I try and enter my details with my country which I did. Not only they didn’t reply but they suddenly blocked my account for no reason. I emailed several times again to ask them to unblock my account and to solve the payment issue (also I was never able to use Apple Pay either even though I use it on other websites).
I created a new account, I managed to save my card details this time (exact same card so it makes no sense at all) and I purchased an item, it all went well but the problems started again when I tried to make a second purchase. Instead of taking me to the payment page it would take me to the page to chat with the seller so I deleted my card details to try and enter it again and but then I got the same error message as before… seriously unbelievable.
Once again they have been ignoring all my emails.
I don’t even think they have any sort of customer service, bots only who are totally useless and they cannot be contacted by phone or chat.
I found this topic discussed in a forum on their own website where hundreds of customers have been having the same issue as mine over a period of 4 years and they are doing nothing to solve it… utterly disgraceful.
