I bought Ami hoodie new with a tag through Vinted but decided to resell it right away because it was too big and was no use for me. They removed the item from sale saying it’s a replica (after i provided all the photos of the tags, closeups etc) and asked me not to upload it again because it is not allowed. So the site sold me a counterfeit, took my money and after that issued me a warning for trying to sell a counterfeit item. I am absolutely shocked how they just left me with a problem after they cashed the profit.
Here is their latest reply after they closed my claim to wich i can no longer reply:
We regularly moderate item listings throughout the day, so occasionally some items might get sold before we have a chance to remove them. Your item is not allowed for sale on our platform, because the authenticity could not be proven.
Even if the item was bought on Vinted, we would like to ask you not to upload it again. We're strict about complying with trademark and anti-counterfeiting laws, so no replicas, reproductions, illegal or counterfeit items may be listed.
We have warned the seller about this, and if it happens again, their account will be blocked.
We apologize for not being quick enough to remove the listing in the first place, and we're working on improving our speed in listing moderation.
Merry Christmas!
