Customer services is an absolute joke and do not stick to their own rules and regulations/terms and conditions. I sold an item on vinted that was electrical. The buyer haggled me on price and didn't pay what I had advertised the item for. They asked me question regarding the item and basked on the question I told them the item wouldn't suit them. After all this, they still wanted the item and told me they were happy to take the risk. Once the item was received, the buyer couldn't figure out how to use the item, I had explained how to and they and wanted a return as they didn't know how to work the item. Vinted themselves state in their terms and conditions that an item cant be refunded or returned if used or if the item doesn't fit or no longer suits the buyer. They also have included in the user terms and agreements that if a buyer haggled on price they aren't covered under the buyers protection fee and it's down to the seller to accept a return/refund, and they also don't deal with issues if the buyer has haggled on price as they're not protected with vinted. The buyer put in a claim to vinted to say the item was damaged (when it wasn't) and vinted are pursuing the claim even though she's not protected under the buyer protection fee, which is against their own terms and conditions posted on the app/website. I've made them known of this several times. I've provided proof there's screenshots of conversation's with the buyer saying they wanted a return as they didn't know how to use the item and not due to damage which is clearly a fraudulent claim, but they brush over all my proof and not listen to what I replied. Two days later the buyer submitted another claim to suggest the item was significantly not as described. I now how two ongoing cases about different issues that aren't apparent. Vinted are siding with the buyer even though I have provided proof through messages and photographs and sent over a reminder (through photos) of thier own terms and conditions. The buyer also didn't approve that they had received the order before she used the item which automatically stops a refund be able to be issued and vinted responding to claims yet they still are. They are also still requesting I accept the buyers return offer which they shouldn't be. Strongly advise to do your research before using to sell as vinted clearly dont know their own rules. I'm not using vinted in the future going forward.
