Vinted’s refund system is completely unfair to sellers. A buyer falsely claimed my item was damaged, and I issued a full refund as it was the right thing to do, assuming they’d have to return it. Vinted later told me that because I manually refunded, I now have no way to get my item back.
This means the buyer got both their money and my item for free—how is that fair? Vinted failed to warn me about this, and their support was completely unhelpful and dismissive.
Sellers, be warned: their policy allows buyers to exploit you with zero consequences.
