It seems Virgin have no idea what they are doing having being bought and sold and are now incapable of running a bank. I was able to open and account and deposit funds without providing additional ID (presumably because I"m an existing customer). However my account was soon blocked leaving me with no access to my cash. I provided the requested ID, but still have no access to my cash. Getting in touch with them is proving impossible. My complaint to them has gone unanswered after 3 weeks (yet they can respond to a TrustPilot review in less than 12 hours). I was on hold writing this and got cut off yet again. A quick search shows me several people have had similar issues, with the ombudsman getting involved. I cannot believe the lack of concern from them. Ot the lack of follow up. I can't understand how they can legally stop me accessing my own money. Please don't deposit anything with them. I'm reading people have been waiting 3 months to regain access to their cash. This is insane.
