My request for a visa was turned into the embassy promptly by your office in DC, but at that point things went south. Instead of the five days they advertised the embassy in question took 9 days. Bottom line, I made my travel arrangments, but barely, and at considerable personal disruption. I know your office is not responsible for embassy slowness but I had to repeatedly call your office in order to energize the proceedings. I did not feel as if you had my back.
