I am very disappointed!
I moved to Vodacom from my Current Service provider because of obvious challenges of coverage.
The reason for this request is due to the fact that we struggle to connect when we are in other living areas just next to the router- worse when we are in our upper level rooms!
Guess what? Vodacom is even worse than the current provider. Luckily I delayed to cancel the current provider’s service.
2 weeks after their installation, I called them asking for immediate intervention. The lady who answered my call told me to call when I am next to my router- she indicated that I do not have any other choice but to buy extenders- which I did when I was advised that there is no other alternative! Yes I agreed to consider accordingly.
She further told me I cannot buy my own because they can’t send their Technicians to assist if they are not Vodacom’s products. I then agreed to buy them from Vodacom.
That was last week Friday, as I am writing this review:
1. No show from Vodacom
2. Internet still not working effectively
3. Vodacom already charged me for the Fibre and additional amount which I guess is for the two routers.
Although I was intending to terminated the services of the current provider , I for some reason luckily never did! I was going to frustrate my family with this choice.
I so wish I checked this reviews before choosing Vodacom which is currently my sole provider for my Cellphones for more than a decade and I was confident I will get the same good service with their fibre but unfortunately NO!
I wish I read these reviews before ! I wouldn’t have chosen them for this.
If at all you read your reviews, please cancel your fibre and save me this stress!
