We love this bed. Solid, not some cheap wood, handsome too. It came really well packed and the shipping company was in contact once it left Utah. My husband followed the YouTube instructions and it went together well. It did take some effort and luckily he has carpentry skills but it would be easy enough for folks who have basic carpentry knowledge. My only nitpick with it was all the styrofoam it was in. Sure it kept everything in pristine condition but I felt horrible throwing it all in the trash since I couldn't find a recycling place to take it
