The hotel @ Holme Lacy was good, grounds & facilities but the food was badly cooked & not up to previous standard. Hake like cardboard, lamb shank could not get my fork in, items missing from plate & since when was an omelette some beaten egg cooked flat. Very disappointing & quite a jump in the price.
