I was charged USD85 (NZD140) for a one way trip from Gold Coast Airport to Broadbeach. That is at least twice as much as any other taxi company and my taxi was an Uber! I have complained many times but the company will not budge and refund the overpayment. The quote on the website was AUD44. At no time did they quote in US Dollars. I would not use this taxi service again and recommend that anyone else do the same.
Since writing this review and after much tooing and frowing, the company has refunded 50% of my payment, which I am happy with.
